Every Youppi game is free: no subscription, no paid content, no locked rounds. You open the page and you play.
No advertising
Youppi is built without advertising: no ad scripts, no banners, no ad network. The screen holds the game, and nothing else to ignore.
A demanding, richer experience
Cluezo draws on semantic-search and word-discovery games. Each guess is compared with the secret word in a space of meaning: you make hypotheses, read the game's feedback — similarity, rank, temperature, map — and refine your strategy instead of guessing blindly.
The “God Mode” of Pimantle
That is how we like to introduce Cluezo: a kind of “God Mode” of Pimantle — the ambition of an experience that goes further and deeper than a plain guessing game: six dictionaries, a map of meaning, a rank among the closest words and temperature tiers that tell the story of your progress.
A deliberate, playful turn of phrase rather than a claim: Cluezo is an original game, with no official affiliation or partnership with Pimantle.
The Youppi philosophy
Fun, curiosity, thinking and discovering vocabulary: every round should make you look for the right word and understand why two words sit close together.
Youppi is designed as a platform that will host several games with the same standards: clear rules, no account to create and respect for your time.
Vector models
Meaning-based closeness relies on pre-trained word embeddings, used under their respective licenses:
- French: fastText Common Crawl cc.fr.300 (CC BY-SA 3.0).
- English: fastText Common Crawl cc.en.300 (CC BY-SA 3.0).
- Spanish: fastText Common Crawl cc.es.300 (CC BY-SA 3.0).
- Italian: fastText Common Crawl cc.it.300 (CC BY-SA 3.0).
- German: fastText Common Crawl cc.de.300 (CC BY-SA 3.0).
- Tounsi: internal lexicon maintained in this repository (human review in progress), vectors derived from the French model.
